Smell the flowers!
July 14th, 2011
We hiked the Ditch Trail in Snowmass Village yesterday. The scenery is astounding and the wildflowers were several feet tall! Indian paintbrush, larkspur, and wild roses crowded the mountain side.
The Ditch Trail winds above Krabloonik and opens up into a vista overlooking a valley with the snow dotted mountains above. Mt. Daly is front and center. And, a waterfall is in the distance.
This is an easy hike or mountain biking adventure for almost everyone; yet takes you to a secluded spot in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Here at the Timberline, we can give you information on other hiking/biking trails! Just ask!
