2. Zooming through Snowy Forests on the Alpine Coaster – Breathtaker

Get ready for one of the newest and most exciting attractions in the Aspen Snowmass ski area. The new Alpine Coaster, Breathtaker, is located in the Elk Camp area, where guests will now enjoy an exhilarating 7-9 minute ride reaching speeds of 28 mph / 45 km.

3. 60 Miles of XC Skiing

Offering 60 miles of free cross-country and Nordic skiing, the Roaring Fork Valley is a paradise for those who love to glide on perfectly groomed trails. Explore pristine beauty at the North Star Nature preserve or take a lap or two with your furry best friend at Aspen Golf Course’s Bernese Boulevard or Snowmass’ Labrador Lane. Every strip of xc skier can find something, including gear rentals and lessons. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even ski from Aspen to Basalt along the Rio Grande’s groomed path–depending on the season’s snowfall.

Chef Jason DeBacker’s German background influences an Alpine-Inspired menu that will delight your taste buds. We invite our guests to savor our fondue with cuts of baked bread, fresh green apples and sausage, homemade German-style wursts, and our signature schnitzel. The edge offers apres ski, with 2 for 1 offering on Cocktails, beer, and wine from 4 – 5:30 pm.
