Top June Events in Snowmass
We’re not going to tell you that this first event of June is our favorite, because not all of us at Timberline Condominiums understand the appeal of running, but if running is your thing, running through the mountains during Ragnar Trail Colorado may spoil you against all other runs! This weekend adventure involves camping, running, and being rendered speechless, not just from your run, but from the beauty of your surroundings. This event is meant for teams of eight, so if you are looking for a different type of bachelor party or your family is into running, be sure to visit during this wonderful weekend!
Snowmass Free Concert Series, June 12, Fanny Hill
This will be the 33rd season of the Snowmass Free Concert Series, held on Thursday evenings from June 12 through August 21st, celebrating the wonders that is a summer in Snowmass. Grab an extra blanket from the closet in your bedroom, or a lawn chair tucked away in the laundry room, and head to Fanny Hill for a night of music and family friendly fun. The doors open at 5:30 and the notes begin to drift out into the even sky an hour later, leading to a night that will be most relaxing. Alcohol can be purchased inside the venue and only service animals are allowed inside the venue and don’t forget a sweater or jacket. The music plays long into the night and the temperatures drop with the sun.
Snowmass Rendezvous, June 14, Snowmass Village Events Lawn and the Rink
Snowmass Rendezvous is a summer festival that celebrates alcohol in its every form and as you sip bottomless seltzer, beer, wine, spirits, and ciders, this outdoor event is also filled with exciting vendors, games such as cornhole, and a free concert that is the only proper way to end a summer festival. Free public transportation will give you a safe way to get home, but remember, if you are traveling with children, this is not the event for you, as it is 21 and over only. Taking place in the shadows of the mountains, if you drink responsibly, you will remember the moments spent sipping, savoring, and singing along to the music for the rest of your life.
Father’s Day, June 15

Winter may be devoted to the ski slopes but in the summer in our mountain town, it is the Snowmass Rodeo that makes the press. June 18th is the first day of rodeo season and Wednesdays through August the show continues. Offering everything that makes a rodeo fun, including bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, roping, and barrel racing, this most Western summer event offers an authentic peek into the wild west.
Jazz Aspen Snowmass, June 26 Through June 29, Various Venues
What can we say about Jazz Aspen Snowmass that hasn’t already been said by so many others? Ending this action filled month with attendance at this wonderful music festival will make your vacation in Snowmass even more memorable. Taking place over four days in various venues throughout Aspen and Snowmass, it’s all about smooth jazz and even smoother drinks. The drinks will need to be bought separately and aren’t an official part of the festival, but they do add a sparkle to your musical adventures.
