Snowmass

Snowmass Ski Area is known for its expansive terrain, family-friendly atmosphere, and impressive vertical drop. As the largest of the Aspen Snowmass mountains, it offers a wide variety of runs geared toward varied experience levels, from gentle beginner slopes to challenging expert terrain.

About Snowmass

Aspen Snowmass Ski Area delivers an impressive on-mountain experience with unmatched scale and variety. With more than 3,300 acres of terrain, it boasts everything from wide-open alpine bowls to glades and high-speed groomers.

Tree skiing is a highlight here, with areas like the Prospector Tree Trail near Adams Avenue offering carvable trails easily accessible from Elk Camp, while the Cirque and Hanging Valley Wall challenge advanced skiers with steep pitches and dramatic descents.

Snowmass also features a whopping 20 lifts, allowing you to cover serious ground in a single day. The Village Express high-speed 6-passenger chairlift is among the most popular thanks to its convenient mid-station that efficiently connects the base village to the upper mountain, providing quick access to a wide variety of runs.
