Nearby Attractions and Activities
Although you may be tempted to stay in and indulge a dreamy bout of laziness, there really is a lot to do while visiting Snowmass, even if you aren’t a big fan of skiing.
Ziegler Reservoir is the site of a massive ice-age dig, with over 5,000 fossils found in the area. Everything from ice age camels to mammoths has been dug up since 2010, and the hunt for more mammals continues today at the Snowmass Ice Age Discovery Center.
Wednesday nights are for rodeo fun in Snowmass from mid-June through mid-August. Offering barbecues, live music, and all your standard rodeo events, plus a calf scramble for the kids, it isn’t summer in our minds until the Snowmass Rodeo officially opens.

Do you offer condos larger than 2 bedrooms?
Yes, our largest condos offer as many as 3 bedrooms and have room (in some cases) for up to 9 guests. Larger groups can rent a block of condos so everyone can stay close together.

Are the balconies on your group vacation rentals furnished?
Most, if not all, of our group vacation rentals will offer seating and small tables so guests can put their drinks down between sips.

Does the Timberline offer a gym for guests?
A fully equipped gym is one of the community amenities and features professional-grade equipment.

It says the Edge Restaurant & Bar is seasonal. Will it be closed during my summer visit?
The Edge closes during the off-season, which runs from mid-April through late May, but it reopens for the summer months.

Are we only able to check into our condos during regular business hours?
We do offer 24-hour check-in; the official check-in time is 4 PM, but if you get in really late, you will receive the code to unlock your door via email or text.
