Whether you’re one for music and dance, or you prefer a sweet moment instead, you’ll find what you’re looking for and more this Halloween.

Celebrate Halloween in Snowmass

While some holidays revolve around a collection of set traditions, Halloween tends to be one where participants are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild! From the candy and costumes to the other-worldly tales spun this time of year, Halloween has a way of giving us a reason to enjoy things to an extreme. When your idea of extreme fun happens to include great music, dancing, and savory menu options to match, you’re in luck when you’re spending the holiday in Snowmass. On Friday, October 28th the Late Night with DJ B2 event will be in full swing at Big Hoss Grill. This inviting and vibrant eatery is found at 45 Village Square and is typically open to the dining public Thursday through Tuesday from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm. However, on this select Friday, the restaurant turns into a live DJ booth starting at 9:00 pm and the fun continues until close depending on how much fun the crowd is having. There’s no cover to attend—just be sure to bring your dancing feet and excitement for entertainment along with you.

Enjoy Grabbing a Holiday Bite at Sundae-Snowmass

It’s fair to say that Halloween is a holiday that offers up a free pass on the sweets and candy front. While those with little ones typically end up with buckets of candy on their kitchen table after trick-or-treating adventures, there are also plenty of goodies in stores that serve adult audiences too. When you’re heading to Snowmass this Halloween and you’re looking for a place where you can treat your tastebuds in holiday style, Sundae-Snowmass is it! Found at 60 Carriage Way unit 3120-B, Sundae-Snowmass serves up tantalizing treats in cones and cups Sunday, Monday, and Thursday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm as well as Fridays and Saturdays until 10:00 pm. This locale is loved for its selection of small-batch artisan ice cream selections. With every stop, guests will find the menu brimming over with bold new flavors and some traditional favorites too! From signature sundaes and homemade waffle cones to custom ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, and signature shakes, there’s truly something for everyone with a sweet tooth to satisfy here! Seasonal sundaes as well as the flavor of the month options ensure that your visit will have a few unique selections to choose from. Don’t be surprised if your cone or cup can be filled with Halloween-inspired flavors and colors when you drop by this time of year!

Take a Halloween Hike or Two

While Halloween time in Snowmass often comes with chillier temperatures and even a chance for some flurries, there’s no reason not to hit the hiking trails if lacing up your boots and exploring is your passion. One of the most notorious areas to hike is the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness area which sits just beyond the parameters of Aspen. Here, hikers can find a wide variety of trails that wind their way around the Maroon Bellows and offer up access to places like Crater Lake and Maroon Lake alike. Aspen forests often hug these routes on both sides and this time of year, the lighting can be particularly appealing for those who happen to enjoy nature photography too. Hikers looking for a moderately difficult trek to try out will want to add Smuggler Loop to their itinerary. More experienced hikers might find a trek along Government Trail to be endlessly intriguing. That said, no matter what path you choose this Halloween, you’ll be treated to beautiful scenery and opportunities to spot wildlife. It’s sure to be inspiring every step of the way.
