Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley (Home of Aspen, Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, & Snowmass Village) Designated a Gold-Level Ride Center by the International Mountain Bicycling Association.                  

During the winter Aspen and Snowmass are well known as the best ski resort, but during the summer, the surrounding change and offers the best conditions for biking. For the Aspen Snowmass / Roaring Fork Ride Center to grow from Bronze-Level to Gold-Level is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the community’s dedication to mountain biking,” says Dave Wiens, IMBA Executive Director.

The Roaring Fork Valley offers incredible conditions for biking. For example, the Rio Grande trail can take you from Aspen to Glenwood Springs via Basalt and Carbondale. Two small villages which offer a lot of things to do. You will find something for yourself form special events, outdoor activities, dining, shopping, and fly fishing in Basalt, and hot springs in Carbondale and Glenwood Springs. You can enjoy the ride of 42 miles surrounding by the beautiful nature of the Rocky Mountains.
