Snowmass Mountain is the largest of the four Aspen/Snowmass ski areas. At Snowmass, you'll find terrain and conditions for the whole family! Snowmass has made many wonderful on-mountain improvements over the past few years. A new 12 foot half pipe for those learning to ride was completed last season. Drop in and experience the excitement! Other recent improvements include the high speed quad chairlift at Sheer Bliss , the new Elk Camp gondola, and the restaurant atop of the Village Express Chair - Sam's Smokehouse with awe inspiring views!

Lift Hours: Vary based on the lift and location on the mountain, with the Sky Cab opening at 8 am, the Cirque at 10 am, and the Village Express and Big Burn lifts opening at 8:30 am. All other lifts open at 9 am. In the Spring, there are extended afternoon hours with the Elk Camp Gondola, Village Express and Sheer Bliss chairs remaining open until 4pm daily. Sunset Spring Skiing will debut in March 2011, with lifts open until 6:00 p.m. on at least one Friday afternoon per month.
