Friday Night Movies Selected Fridays this summer, free movies will be shown either outside on the hill or in the Cabaret Room of the Silvertree Hotel. June 29 Shortsfest: a selection of award winning short films hand-picked from the Aspen short film fest. The films will be shown in the Cabaret Room of the Silvertree Hotel. July 20 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: in conjunction with the release of the latest Harry Potter book (available at the Snowmass book store) a screening of the movie will be shown outdoors on Fanny Hill. The pre-movie festivites will begin at 6pm on the mall and viewers are invited to come in costume. The movie will start at dusk. August 3 Everybody Stares: The Police from the Inside Out: a Stuart Copeland documentary shown in the Cabaret Room of the Silvertree Hotel. August 24 Metropolis: the silent film will be accompanied by live music provided by the Aspen Music School. The movie will be shown in the Cabaret Room of the Silvertree Hotel.
