We hiked the Ditch Trail in Snowmass Village yesterday. The scenery

is astounding and the wildflowers were several feet tall!  Indian paintbrush, larkspur, and wild roses crowded the mountain side.

The Ditch Trail winds above Krabloonik and opens up into a vista overlooking a valley with the snow dotted mountains above. Mt. Daly is front and center.  And, a waterfall is in the distance.

This is an easy hike or mountain biking adventure for almost everyone;  yet takes you to a secluded spot in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Here at the Timberline, we can give you information on other hiking/biking trails! Just ask!

Activities abound in the Aspen/Snowmass area.  A favorite Snowmass event is the Snowmass Culinary & Arts Festival, July 22 – 23.  Meet Chef Richard Sandoval, Bon Appétit’s 2006 Restaurateur of the Year!  With the “Palette of Pairings” and expert panel presentations, food enthusiasts and wine connoisseurs will love this event.   Enjoy an art exhibition too!

The Snowmass Rodeo is a perennial favorite with both young and old.  The Western BBQ is delicious and you will laugh until you cry during the kid’s  muttin’ bustin’.   Of course, do not forget to experience the Maroon Bells and a take in a performance at the Aspen Music Festival.

Located just a block from the festivals and with all the comforts of home in your spacious condominium lodging, the Timberline Condominiums is the best choice for Snowmass lodging.  Reserve your
