Why Book A Colorado Vacation Rental?

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

What are the advantages of booking a Snowmass vacation rental instead of a hotel?  This is a question many people who are considering staying in one of our Snowmass condos for the first time ask themselves.  We’re going to state the case for choosing one of our Snowmass condo accommodations over a traditional hotel.  After staying with us we’re sure that you’ll never wonder

if you made the right choice in selecting a vacation rental.

•    Get More Out Of Your Vacation Dollars: Once you choose to stay at a studio, one bedroom, two bedroom or three bedroom accommodation, you get more square footage and more beds, many units offer a loft with additional bedding, than you would get with a hotel room. Our rooms start at 750 square feet while most hotels max out at 350 square feet.
•    Enjoy Better Amenities: The Timberline is located in one of the most picturesque settings in Aspen/Snowmass. Spectacular views of the Snowmass valley abound from the comfort of your private home away from home.  Our ski in ski out location has an exhaustive array of amenities including complimentary wireless internet access, pool-size outdoor hot tub, private fitness center with steam room & shower, 4,000 square foot outdoor sundeck with spectacular mountain views, fire pit, gas grills, and picnic area, slope side ski/ snowboard lockers, and fireplaces in units one bedroom or larger.
•    Privacy: When you stay in our Snowmass lodging, you enjoy the privacy of home, free from the thin walls and crowded common areas that characterize hotels.
•    Dine When You Want: Our Snowmass Village condos have fully equipped kitchens, with microwave ovens, blenders, service ware and toasters. Also the well-stocked Village Market, offers guests the options to cut costly meal expenses and is conveniently located in the town of Snowmass Village.

These are just a few of the reasons why staying at one of our condominiums in Snowmass is preferable to a hotel.  Many of our guests stay with us year after year. After you stay with us, we’re sure you’ll see why!

Snowmass is an amazing place to be during the summer, and our Snowmass vacation rentals are the perfect place to spend your vacation time.  The days are long and warm, the mountains are a brilliantly green filled with life, and the air is crisp and clean.  The Snowmass summer event calendar is filled with a wide variety of fun activities, best of all many are completely free of charge!

One such example is the Free Thursday Night Concert Series that takes place at Snowmass at the base of Fanny Hill, just footsteps from your Snowmass condo rental.  These concerts are a great way to spend a summer evening.  Each week an eclectic mix of funk, bluegrass, rock, reggae, and country bands come to play free shows at the base of Snowmass Mountain.  So bring a cooler, a blanket and find a nice spot on the grass for your friends and the family to enjoy some good tunes.

Two great events bookend your summer in Snowmass, things kickoff with

The 35th Annual Snowmass Balloon Festival finishes off the summer events calendar.  The skies above Snowmass will be filled with a beautiful array of multicolored hot air balloons from September 17th to the 19th.  This is one of the highest-altitude balloon events in the country. Over three days, 30 pilots compete in challenging competitions including a distance race that covers the entire Roaring Fork Valley. Highlights include Saturday Evening Glow, barbecue, and free concert where brightly colored balloons light up the night sky.

There are an endless amount of amazing summer events taking place between the Block Party and Balloon Fest. Click here to learn more about them!
